Craig F. Kelley, PhD

Postdoc

Craig is a postdoctoral research scientist in the Laboratory for Neural Engineering and Control.  His current research interests include the neural mechanisms of and role of neuromodulation in attention and methods for enhancing it.  Before joining the lab, Craig received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the joint program at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYU Tandon School of Engineering.  His doctoral research focused on using multiscale computer modeling to study spreading depression (a tissue-scale pattern of neural activity involved in stroke, migraine, and epilepsy) and nonlinear dynamics of cortical pyramidal neurons.
